Cloisonne badges are just great for that unique look of bold quality and unsurpassed workmanship. Cloisonne badge make your design come to life with exquisite detail. After being struck from a copper/bronze material, a die imprint is made from the artwork supplied to us. A further mold is created for the outline of the design and the shape of the pin is cut out. Colour is added by pouring a powdered glass material into the recesses created by the mold, each colour is then fired in a kiln at very high temperatures. This process is repeated for each colour to ensure fantastic colour separation. The "final touch" involves plating the pin with gold or silver and then polishing to create a beautiful finished pin. All badge are thoroughly inspected and packaged individually prior to shipping.
